14 oz. Black Pepper Discount Bags

I've been looking for delicious, truly western-style beef jerky and Damn Good Jerky delivers. Most jerky places now have thick cuts and they're too moist and gooey. This is a great, dry and easy to eat jerky you can tear in strips. The black pepper flavor isn't super strong but there's plenty there and black pepper is my favorite flavor for any jerky. I love these guys and hope they never go out of business.

This is a review for the one pound bags only. You will get a different experience choosing another packaging. I agree with other posts. This jerky is salty, dry, some times very tough and usually does not have enough pepper. I gave it five stars because it is still the best! The flavor is outstanding and I cannot stop eating it. It's very addictive. You definitely get your money's worth with these bags.

I order this bag for my wife as she is a peppered jerky fiend the wole bag was a more than a bit saltyand not quite peppery enough.

I bought this with several other flavors. Although this beef is tougher and drier than the non-discounted packages, it is still superior to most store bought brands. And at the price listed, it is a superb, superb value. I go camping a lot, and this snack would be perfect since, being drier, it is delivers more protein for the weight (and beef jerky is rumored to be quite popular among astronauts for the same reason that it is light and protein rich). The shipping was all in one box and the company processed everything very quickly. I am 100% satisfied.
